MAKING A DIFFERENCE LOCALLY

With the assistance of Nisa-Todays we have the opportunity to raise hundreds of pounds for good causes and charities in our community.

It so simple - each time a customer purchases a product featuring this logo money is donated to the making a Difference Locally Fund. The Fund is the idea of Nisa-Todays and has already raised millions of pounds nationally
for local good causes and charities.

In 2008 our customers raised almost £1700 by simply purchasing every day items. The money raised was donated to the Tenbury Wells Chamber of Trade to help pay for the wonderful display of Christmas lights in the Town.

 This year we had a vote in-store and our customers decided to donate monies raised to County Air Ambulance. We have so far raised £1128 and will donate all monies raised up to end of December 2009

County Air Ambulance now has 6 helicopters serving the Midlands. Unfortunately only a few hospitals have helipads and only a small number are suitable for modern use. County Air Ambulance Trust has agreed to take up the challenge of bringing
improved helicopter access to all key Accident & Emergency Hospitals and Trauma Centres throughout the region. A new Helicopter Emergency Landing Pad (HELP) appeal has been set up to raise the funds needed to construct these facilities and
to ensure that all new helicopters have suitable helipad access in the future. Their target is to raise £10million within the next five years.

The hospital landing pads they are currently working on or are still in the planning process are :-
The Oswestry Spinal Injuries Centre
Hereford City Hospital
Birmingham Heartlands Hospital
the Bristol Royal Infirmary
The Leicester Infirmary
The Queens Medical Centre Nottingham

We all know how important County Air Ambulance is to this region and are thrilled tobe able to make a difference to this worthwhile cause.
